General
Thank you for using Planitt for the design and/or supply of your
new kitchen. The following Conditions of Sale apply to services
and goods supplied by PLANITT LTD. registered at 71-75 Shelton
Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Please be aware that no
contract/obligation exists between you, as the customer, and the
Company until the relevant monies have been cleared in the
specified Bank Account.
We are happy to provide an initial free, no obligation design
consultation in your home, subject to your geographical
location, which is reliant on the company’s discretion. This is
then followed by an estimate of the kitchen costs.
Acting as a controller following the latest GDPR guidelines, we
will only collect the personal data needed for 'contract'
purposes, whilst carrying out your project. These details will
be kept and stored securely on our systems, unless you
specifically request otherwise.
Payment & Confirmation of Order
Upon receiving payment for the design fee, your kitchen design
will be drawn up, usually over the following 5 – 10 working days
and presented to you in the form of a detailed plan and a
selection of realistic 3D visuals. Included in the design fee is
your right to request changes to the plan.
With your design package, we will deliver a written quotation
for the supply of the selected products. Please note that we may
give you an indicated price for the fitting and preparation
works associated with your project but these are purely an
indication of the costs for your knowledge and you would need to
seek formal quotations directly from your chosen tradespeople.
Once you are happy to proceed with the Kitchen Order, we require
the full quotation amount to be paid into our account. Upon
receiving this payment and completion of the confirmation form,
the necessary components will be ordered and the kitchen will be
delivered on the specified delivery date.
Supplier lead-times vary from product to product and are not
confirmed until the sign off on your order confirmation.
Guarantee
While we pride ourselves in the quality of our design service,
be aware that our 3D visuals will be as accurate as possible but
are still artistic impressions and some minor details may differ
slightly between the design and the physical product.
The products we supply are of high-quality but please bear in
mind that there may be some colour variances when comparing
stocked samples against your delivered furniture. Likewise, when
dealing with solid wood products, kitchens are always subject to
natural imperfections in wood grain etc., and can also move over
time, causing slight cracking around joints. For more
information on how to look after your new kitchen, please refer
to our 'Care & Maintenance' guidelines.
Any manufacturer defects or faults with your furniture must be
reported with in 48 hours of receiving your delivery. All of our
products will be covered under the standard manufacturer
guarantees.
Cancellation
Once payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted if the Company agrees, in writing, to your specific reason for cancelling the order and on the condition that you reimburse the Company for any expenses or losses resulting in the cancellation.
Installation
We at Planitt are happy to recommend a kitchen fitter for you to use directly, however this is a recommendation only and the Company accepts no responsibility for the installation of your kitchen.
